Just take a good look at the custom Ghost Rider above on Brickshelf. Look at the full gallery of the Ghost Rider custom LEGO here. Custom LEGOs are a labor of love and take many hours to construct, so read the steps carefully so you don't miss a beat.

Step 1
Decide what you want to build. If you start building something with no idea, then it will be hard to fix a mistake.

Step 2
Create a battle plan. Determine what color blocks you will need and what pieces.

Step 3
Obtain images of the thing you want to build if it something that already exists. If you are trying to build a LEGO Transformer, then obtaining some good reference pictures will help the final product turn out the way that you want it to. Draw a rough sketch of the custom LEGO design you want to build if you cannot obtain reference pictures.

Step 4
Build the LEGO design that you want with LEGO bricks. Take your time. Make sure that each piece is firmly locked into the pieces that it is connecting to.
