The Shining Wizard #6: Last Minute Wrestlemania 27 Predictions

In under one hour, WWE's flagship show, Wrestlemania, will begin its 27th edition. Here are my predictions for this year's event.

Eight-Man Tag Team Match: The Corre (Wade Barrett, Ezekial Jackson, Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel) vs. Santino Marella, Kane, The Big Show and Kofi Kingston (Kozlov was "injured" at Axxess this weekend.
The Corre needs to look strong to continue being around, which makes this an obvious choice.
Winner: The Corre

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes
I care as much for this match as I would for a match involving Doink the Clown. I do think Mysterio will win, but I could see Rhodes getting the nod. At this point in his career, Rhodes needs the victory more than Mysterio.
Winner: Mysterio

United States Championship Match: Sheamus (champion) vs. Daniel Bryan
It would be stupid for Sheamus to lose the belt so early after just winning it. It will also help build him up to true main event status in the future.
Winner: Sheamus

John Morrison, Trish Stratus and Snooki (Yes, the lady of the evening from Jersey Shore) vs. Dolph Ziggler and Lay-Cool
When a celebrity is in a match, they most likely win.
Winner: John Morrison, Trish Stratus and Snooki

Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole
Lawler will finally get his hands on the best heel in the WWE today.
Winner: The King

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk
Orton will defeat Punk to add to his long list of big victories in his short career.
Winner: Orton

The Undertaker vs. Triple H
This match will burn the house down, but it will not have the largest fan reaction of the evening (Read on to see when that will happen). Triple H will not be ending The Undertaker's streak. He will retire with it intact with probably 20 wins.
Winner: The Undertaker

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Edge (Champion) vs. Alberto Del Rio
Christian will most likely turn heel and cost Edge his belt. It will probably lead to a match between the two at Summerslam. Knowing the WWE, they will end up bumping it up to WWE Extreme Rules in May.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio

WWE Championship Match: The Miz (champion) vs. John Cena
This match will be decent and The Rock will appear providing the crowd and the WWE Universe with a moment that will be seen for years.
Winner: John Cena
